High school programs in Texas can return to strength and conditioning on June 8 on a voluntary basis.
Each school district has the option to begin summer programs at a later date. I was really hoping that we would be voting on the July 6 start date. Trujillo said the June 15 start date is still a possibility for LCPS programs, but the district will gather more information based on any revisions Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham announces, as well as input from coaches and administrators. SARATOGA — A former Prospect High School student claims that school employees failed to investigate or report his illicit encounters with an adult basketball coach when he was a minor, even after the coach became pregnant with his child, according to a new civil lawsuit against the district. As her pregnancy became more physically obvious, she eventually left the school; the circumstances, and the exact date, of her departure are not outlined in the suit. Even after the child was born, Rogers still pressed the plaintiff to keep the ordeal a secret, the suit alleges. He eventually told his family when his daughter was one year old. Rogers subsequently moved out of state in and married.
